Materials
- Canvas - you can find them in many sizes at your local craft store
- Fabric and quilt batting in the size needed to cover the front, sides and a couple of inches of the back of your canvas
- 505 Spray
- Staple gun
- Thumb tacks (that will fit flush once pushed into the board)
- Ribbon (number and length depends on board and ribbon size)
- Picture hanger
Instructions
- Measure your canvas, adding the sides and enough of the back to be able to staple the fabric
- Cut your fabric and batting to that measurement
- Spray the back of your fabric with 505
- Carefully place your batting on the sprayed side of the fabric
- Spray the front of your canvas
- Center the canvas onto your batting (with fabric on the opposite side)
- Pull fabric to the back of the canvas and staple to secure, using your staple gun
- Determine placement and order of your ribbons
- Attach with thumb tacks to the back of the board
- Secure your picture hanger to the back of the canvas
