Today was Matilda's first Eater, and I think she enjoyed it. We started our day talking about the meaning of Easter, and different traditions. We'll try that again next year too, since I don't think she really got it this year. :) Then she found her Easter Basket, which was a big hit. She wore her pretty new Easter dress to Church, where we spent the hour listening to our wonderful choir. And where there is music, there must be dancing (regardless of tempo or subject matter), so Tildy quite enjoyed it.
Then we headed up to Grandma Griesemer's where we spent a few minutes at Grandpa Griesemer's grave, then had a great dinner as a family. She was absolutely exhausted by the end of the day, but she did so well today. On a side note, our little girl climbed up and down stairs today like it was no problem. This is pretty amazing because we haven't really worked on it with her. About a month ago we spent about 15 minutes trying to get her to go up the stairs, but that was about it. She just did it today. She also decided this weekend to stand, but only as long as she's not thinking about it.
